Overview
Enko supplies interior systems to trade customers in New Zealand. The store needed to support bulk orders, a large product catalogue and product sheets customers could share with their clients.
The business need
Enko supplies interior systems to trade customers. Its catalogue contains thousands of products, and customers often need to buy across several product lines in one order.
They also need product information they can pass to their own clients.
My responsibility
I worked across frontend development, the Magento backend and search integration.
The build included quick ordering, trade-account pricing and catalogue rules, printable product sheets and a guided tour for new customers.
Ordering and product search
Algolia provides search with typo tolerance and filters across categories, styles and specifications. The quick-order tool lets customers add multiple products without repeating the usual browsing flow for each one.
Printable sheets let trade customers reuse product details in their own sales conversations.
Operating the store
Magento manages the catalogue and trade-account rules. The custom tools sit around the existing commerce platform, supporting wholesale purchasing rather than treating every order as a single retail purchase.
